IETE VJC Annual Activities

An ALUMNI LECTURE featuring an interaction with an NSTL Scientist was conducted as part of October 2024 activities.

The session provided:

• Insights into defence and research technologies
• Career guidance from an experienced professional
• Real-world applications of engineering concepts

Students benefited from the expert interaction and gained clarity on career opportunities.

The ISF of St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, in association with IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a Workshop on PCB Design from 16th October to 29th October 2024.

The workshop provided hands-on training in:

• Circuit design
• PCB layout
• Simulation tools

Students gained practical exposure to real-world electronic design processes.

The Department of ECE, Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology, in association with IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized an ML Hackathon: Master the Art of Machine Learning from 3rd to 5th October 2024.

Students actively participated and developed innovative solutions using machine learning concepts.

The hackathon enhanced problem-solving skills, coding abilities, and teamwork among participants.

During September 2024, the IETE Vijayawada Centre, along with its ISF institutions, conducted several technical activities and student engagement programs.

These activities focused on:

• Enhancing technical knowledge
• Promoting collaborative learning
• Providing exposure to emerging technologies

Students actively participated in workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions, strengthening their practical skills and academic understanding.

The continuous efforts of the IETE Vijayawada Centre ensured sustained student engagement and technical development.

The IETE Vijayawada Centre celebrated ENGINEERS DAY – 2024 with active participation from ISF institutions.

The celebrations included:

An EXPERT TALK ON EMERGING SATELLITE COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES was organized to provide insights into modern communication systems.

• Future trends in communication technologies

The talk enhanced students’ understanding of advanced telecom systems.

The IETE Student Forums conducted MYSTERY PIXELS, an innovative technical event designed to challenge students’ analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The event involved:

• Image-based problem-solving tasks
• Logical reasoning challenges
• Team-based participation

Students actively engaged in the event, showcasing creativity and technical knowledge.

A TECHNICAL QUIZ COMPETITION was conducted to test students’ knowledge in electronics and communication engineering.

The IETE Student Forums organized AKASHVANI 2K24, a special event marking National Broadcasting Day, during August 2024.

The program successfully highlighted the evolution and importance of broadcasting in modern communication.

A PAPER PRESENTATION ON BROADCASTING TECHNOLOGIES was conducted as part of July 2024 activities.
