IETE VJC Annual Activities

The IETE Vijayawada Centre continued to conduct technical activities and student engagement programs during December 2022.

The initiatives focused on:

• Reinforcing technical knowledge
• Encouraging student participation in academic activities
• Providing exposure to emerging trends

The programs ensured continuous learning and active involvement of students in technical development.

In October 2022, the IETE Vijayawada Centre organized a series of technical workshops and industry-oriented sessions across ISF institutions.

The programs emphasized:

• Practical exposure to emerging technologies
• Skill development through hands-on training
• Industry relevance in academic learning

These initiatives helped students enhance their technical competencies and better understand real-world engineering applications.

The IETE Vijayawada Centre, in association with the ISF of the Dept. of ECE of PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Vijayawada, jointly celebrated the “ENGINEER’S DAY” function on 15^th Sept. 2022.  As a part of the celebrations, several technical competitions were conducted for students. The IETE Executive Members and the PVPSIT staff coordinate the events. The Certificates were distributed to all participants.

During August 2022, the IETE Vijayawada Centre, along with its ISF institutions, conducted various technical activities, seminars, and student engagement programs.

The activities focused on:

• Strengthening core concepts in electronics and communication
• Encouraging participation in technical discussions
• Promoting collaborative learning environments

Students actively participated in competitions, seminars, and knowledge-sharing sessions, contributing to a vibrant academic atmosphere.

The IETE Student Forum, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, successfully organized a ONE WEEK WORKSHOP ON “IoT APPLICATIONS” from 23rd to 29th July 2022.

The workshop focused on:

• Fundamentals of Internet of Things (IoT)
• Sensor interfacing and real-time data acquisition
• Practical implementation of IoT-based systems

Participants gained hands-on experience in developing IoT solutions and understanding their applications in modern technology. The program significantly enhanced students’ technical knowledge and practical skills in emerging IoT domains.
