IETE VJC Annual Activities

A Two-Day Workshop on PCB Design & Manufacturing was conducted on 16th and 17th January 2026 by the IETE Student Forum of Amrita Sai Institute of Science and Technology, in collaboration with IETE Vijayawada Centre.

The workshop focused on the fundamentals and advanced concepts of printed circuit board (PCB) design, including schematic creation, layout design, and fabrication techniques. Participants were introduced to industry-standard tools and practices.

Through hands-on sessions, students gained practical exposure to the complete PCB development process, from concept to implementation.

The initiative played a vital role in strengthening participants’ understanding of hardware design and electronic product development.

The IETE Vijayawada Centre, in association with the IETE Student Forum (ISF) of Sai Spurthy Institute of Technology, successfully organized a Two-Day Workshop on Real-Time IoT Applications on 8th and 9th January 2026.

The workshop was designed to provide participants with a strong foundation in Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, focusing on real-time data acquisition, sensor interfacing, and system-level integration. The sessions included both theoretical insights and hands-on practice, enabling students to build and understand IoT-based solutions.

The program was led by experienced resource persons from academia and industry, who guided participants through practical implementations and real-world use cases.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation and significantly contributed to enhancing students’ technical competencies in IoT and smart systems.

An EXPERT TALK ON INDIGENIZATION OF HI-TECH AND CRITICAL TECHNOLOGIES was conducted as part of the foundation day celebrations.

The session emphasized:

• Importance of indigenous technology development
• Role of innovation in national growth
• Future opportunities in technology sectors

The talk inspired students to contribute to technological self-reliance.

During the foundation day celebrations, a FELICITATION CEREMONY FOR SENIOR IETE MEMBERS was conducted.

The ceremony recognized:

• Contributions of experienced members
• Achievements in technical and academic fields
• Dedication toward the growth of IETE

The event honored the legacy and commitment of senior professionals.

The IETE Vijayawada Centre, along with ISF institutions, conducted various technical activities and student engagement programs during October 2025.

The programs focused on:

• Enhancing technical knowledge
• Promoting collaborative learning
• Providing exposure to modern technologies

Students actively participated in workshops, seminars, and technical sessions.

A CAREER PLANNING AND HIGHER STUDIES GUIDANCE SESSION was conducted to help students make informed academic and professional decisions.

Students benefited from expert advice and career insights.

During September 2025, various technical workshops and student development activities were conducted across ISF institutions.

The activities focused on:

• Skill enhancement in emerging technologies
