IETE VJC Annual Activities

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sir C. R. Reddy College of Engineering, Eluru, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a one-day workshop titled “AI/ML Meets VLSI: Transforming Analog and Digital Design” on 07-09-2026. Ms. S. Spandana from the Department of ECE, K L University, served as the resource person. The workshop highlighted the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and VLSI design.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chalapathi Institute of Technology (A), Guntur, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, conducted Teachers’ Day Celebrations on 05-09-2026. Dr. Kolla Naga Sreenivasa Rao, Principal and Professor at Chalapathi Institute of Technology, and Prof. B. V. Chowdary, Vice-Chancellor of Chalapathi University, Guntur, delivered lectures on the theme “Celebrating the Contribution of Teachers in Education and Nation Building.” The programme highlighted the vital role of educators in shaping students and contributing to national development.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Vijayawada, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized Teachers’ Day Celebrations on 05-09-2026. The celebration recognized the dedication and contributions of teachers in education and student development.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, Andhra Pradesh, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized Teachers’ Day Celebrations on 05-09-2026. The programme recognized the valuable role of teachers in shaping students’ academic progress, professional development, and future aspirations.

Dr. B. Nancharaiah, Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology, Telaprolu, has been honoured with the Andhra Pradesh State Best Teacher Award – 2026 in recognition of his dedicated service and valuable contributions to education. He received the award from the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu, on 05-09-2026, on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. IETE Vijayawada Centre extends its heartiest congratulations to Dr. B. Nancharaiah on this distinguished achievement.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sir C. R. The celebration acknowledged the dedication and contributions of teachers to student learning and institutional development.

Sri Pammi Kalee Prasad, Former Honorary Secretary of IETE Vijayawada Centre, delivered an insightful guest lecture on “Role of Physics in Communication and Semiconductor Industries” at G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science for Women, Hyderabad, on 05-09-2026. The lecture highlighted the importance of physics in communication technologies and semiconductor industries, helping students understand the scientific principles underlying modern electronic systems.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chalapathi Institute of Technology (A), Guntur, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a hands-on workshop on “Digital Circuit Design, FPGA Technology and Xilinx-Based Hardware Implementation” from 01-09-2026 to 03-09-2026. Mr. M. Suresh, MATLAB Designer at Silicon Techno Solutions Pvt. Ltd., served as the resource person. The workshop focused on digital circuit design, FPGA technology, and hardware implementation techniques.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Bapatla Women’s Engineering College, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, in association with the IETE Bapatla Sub-Centre under IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized an Inter/Intra-Institutional Startup Competition on 29-08-2026. The competition encouraged students to present their startup ideas and entrepreneurial initiatives. Cash prizes were awarded to the best startups, and the Principal, Heads of Departments, and faculty members congratulated the winners and participants.
