IETE VJC Annual Activities

The IETE Student Forum of PSCMR College of Engineering & Technology, Vijayawada, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, successfully organized a Three-Day Workshop on “Analog IC Applications” from 3rd to 5th August 2023.

The workshop was led by Sri S. Pradeep Kumar, Director, Smart Home & Industrial Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

The sessions focused on:

• Fundamentals of analog integrated circuits
• Design techniques and applications
• Real-time industrial use cases

Participants gained hands-on experience in circuit design and analysis, enhancing their practical understanding of analog electronics.

The IETE Student Forum of Usharama College of Engineering & Technology, in collaboration with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, conducted a One Week Training Program on “Data Analysis Using Python” from 24th to 29th July 2023.

The program was facilitated by Ms. K. Meenakshi and Ms. K. Rubeena from APSSDC, Andhra Pradesh.

The training focused on:

• Python programming fundamentals
• Data visualization techniques
• Real-time data analysis applications

Participants engaged in hands-on sessions, enabling them to apply Python tools for solving practical data problems.

This program significantly enhanced students’ analytical and programming skills, preparing them for industry-oriented applications.

The IETE Student Forum of KKR & KSR Institute of Technology & Sciences, Guntur, organized a One Week Hands-on Workshop on “VLSI Front-End Designing” from 24th to 29th July 2023.

The workshop focused on:

• Digital design fundamentals
• HDL (Hardware Description Languages)
• Simulation and synthesis techniques

Participants gained practical exposure to VLSI design workflows, which are essential for semiconductor and chip design industries.

As part of National Broadcasting Day, the IETE Student Forum of VIT-AP University organized a series of technical and creative events on 28th July 2023 in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre.

The events included:

• Smash-O-Build (Makethon)
• PCB Reverse Engineering
• Broadcasting Gallery (Technical Exhibition)

These activities encouraged innovation, teamwork, and technical creativity among students.

The event successfully highlighted the importance of broadcasting technologies and their evolution.

A Technical Seminar on “Computing Models and Its Applications” was organized on 26th July 2023 by PSCMR College of Engineering, Vijayawada, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre.

The session was delivered by Dr. B. Balaji, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, NIT Patna.

The seminar covered:

• Fundamental computing models
• Modern computational frameworks
• Applications in real-world problem-solving

The session provided students with a strong theoretical foundation and insights into advanced computing paradigms.

The IETE Vijayawada Centre, in association with the IETE Student Forum (ISF) of Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, Namburu, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on “Defence Electronics” on 21st July 2023.

The session was delivered by Er. M.V. Rajasekhar, R&D Director, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bangalore. The lecture provided valuable insights into advanced defence communication systems, radar technologies, and indigenous electronics development in India.

Participants gained exposure to real-world defence applications, enhancing their understanding of strategic electronics and national technological advancements.

The event witnessed active participation from students and faculty, making it an enriching technical session.

In June 2023, the IETE Vijayawada Centre conducted multiple technical activities and skill development initiatives across ISF institutions.

The programs focused on:

• Enhancing practical knowledge
• Preparing students for industry requirements
• Promoting continuous technical learning

These initiatives ensured active engagement and consistent skill development among students.

The IETE Vijayawada Centre organized various technical events and student participation programs during April 2023.

The events aimed to:

Students actively engaged in these programs, gaining valuable academic and technical exposure.

During March 2023, the IETE Vijayawada Centre, in collaboration with ISF institutions, organized several technical workshops and academic activities.

The focus areas included:

• Technical awareness and knowledge development
• Student participation in academic programs

These activities contributed to strengthening students’ technical foundations and encouraging innovation.
