The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sir C. R. Reddy College of Engineering, Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a “Canva Design Workshop” for II B.Tech ECE students on 29-07-2026. Ms. K. Harika, Associate Customer Support at Tech Mahindra, Hyderabad, served as the resource person. The workshop introduced students to digital design and visual content creation using Canva.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sir C. R. Reddy College of Engineering, Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a technical event titled “ELECTRO QUEST” for III B.Tech ECE students on 27-07-2026. The event featured activities such as One Minute Electro Speak, Identify the Picture, and Rapid Fire Puzzle, making the learning of electronics more interactive and enjoyable.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a hackathon on “Advanced Embedded Systems and IoT: Design and Prototype Development of Intelligent Electronic Systems” from 24-07-2026 to 25-07-2026. Mr. S. Sai of Vishishtha Innovators Pvt. Ltd. served as the resource person. The event focused on embedded systems and IoT-based electronic system design, encouraging students to explore prototype development and practical engineering applications.

The IETE Vijayawada Centre organized a guest lecture on “Intelligent IoT Systems for Smart Applications” at Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vijayawada, on 25-07-2026. Dr. B. Surya Prasada Rao, Chairman of IETE Vijayawada Centre, delivered the lecture and shared insights into the role of intelligent Internet of Things (IoT) systems in developing smart applications. The programme highlighted the importance of IoT technologies in addressing modern technological requirements and promoting technical awareness among students.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Bapatla Women’s Engineering College, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, in association with the Council for Skills and Competencies (CSC India) and the IETE Bapatla Sub-Centre under IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a One-Week Online Faculty Development Programme on “Fundamentals of Quantum Computing” from 20-07-2026 to 25-07-2026. The programme focused on introducing participants to the fundamentals of quantum computing and supporting professional development in emerging areas of technology.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Bapatla Women’s Engineering College, Bapatla, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a session on “Angel Investment/VC Funding Opportunities” on 22-07-2026. Dr. Kota Shoba, Incubation Associate at RVR & JC College of Engineering, Guntur, served as the resource person. The session provided an overview of the startup funding ecosystem, eligibility and investment criteria, preparation of business plans and pitches, valuation, due diligence, and the overall fundraising process.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (formerly VR Siddhartha Engineering College), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a Two-Day Hands-on Training Programme on “Printed Circuit Board Design: From Schematic Capture to PCB Layout Methodology” on 18th and 19th July 2026. The programme focused on PCB design methodology, providing participants with exposure to the process of developing circuit schematics and converting them into PCB layouts.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Internet of Things (IoT), Seshadri Rao Gudlavalleru Engineering College, Gudlavalleru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, conducted a technical event titled “Pixel2Logic” on 15-07-2026. The event encouraged student participation in technical activities and provided a platform for engaging with logical and technology-oriented challenges.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chalapathi Institute of Technology (A), Guntur, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a Student Orientation Programme on “QNX RTOS – Industry–Academia Collaboration” on 13-07-2026. Mr. Aditya Gunda, Senior Software Development Test Engineer at QNX; Mrs. Sangeetha Sharma, Manager – Training Delivery at Pi-Square Technologies; and Mr. Nagendra Suresh, Senior Technical Manager at QNX, served as resource persons. The programme introduced students to real-time operating systems and highlighted the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and industry.

The IETE Student Forum (ISF) of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Bapatla Women’s Engineering College, Bapatla, in association with IETE Vijayawada Centre, organized a Three-Day Faculty Development Programme on “AI Tools for Teaching and Research” from 08-07-2026 to 10-07-2026. Faculty members from various colleges participated in the programme. Mr. D. Sai Sateesh, CEO of Indian Servers Pvt. Ltd., Vijayawada, served as the resource person and shared insights into the application of artificial intelligence tools in teaching and research. An MoU was also established with Bapatla Women’s Engineering College to support collaborative activities.
