A WEBINAR ON FIBER APPLICATIONS IN MEDICAL FIELD was conducted to highlight the role of optical fiber technology in healthcare and medical applications.

The session covered:

• Fiber optics in medical diagnostics
• Advanced imaging technologies
• Emerging trends in biomedical engineering

The webinar provided interdisciplinary knowledge and broadened students’ understanding of engineering applications in healthcare.

During February 2024, the IETE Student Forums organized IOT BUILDATHON AND TECHNICAL HACKATHON EVENTS to encourage innovation and hands-on learning among students.

The events focused on:

• Developing IoT-based solutions
• Integrating hardware and software systems
• Real-time problem-solving

Students actively participated in designing and presenting innovative projects, enhancing their practical skills and teamwork abilities.
