During September 2023, the IETE Vijayawada Centre, along with its associated IETE Student Forums (ISFs), continued to conduct various technical workshops, seminars, and training programs across multiple institutions.

These activities focused on:

• Emerging technologies in electronics and communication
• Skill development through practical sessions
• Industry-oriented training programs

The initiatives provided students with opportunities to enhance their technical knowledge, participate in collaborative learning, and gain exposure to real-world applications.

These continuous efforts reflect the commitment of the IETE Vijayawada Centre toward promoting technical excellence and innovation among students.

The IETE Student Forum of Malineni Lakshmaiah Women’s Engineering College, Guntur, organized a “ROBOTICS BOOT CAMP” on 2nd September 2023 in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre.

The boot camp emphasized:

• Basics of robotics and automation
• Hands-on development of robotic systems
• Integration of sensors and control mechanisms

Participants actively engaged in practical sessions, enabling them to understand the working principles of modern robotic systems.

The program enhanced students’ technical skills and encouraged innovation in robotics applications.

The IETE Student Forum of Vignan University, Guntur, in association with the IETE Vijayawada Centre, successfully organized an Industry Interface Course (Modular Course) on “CHIP DESIGN” from 1st to 2nd September 2023.

The program was delivered by Mr. Sudarshanam Kommanaboyina, SoC Design/Technical Lead at Intel, Hyderabad.

The course focused on:

• Fundamentals of chip design and semiconductor technologies
• Industry-oriented design methodologies
• Practical insights into SoC (System on Chip) development

The session provided students with valuable exposure to the semiconductor industry, equipping them with essential knowledge for careers in VLSI and chip design.

Chalapathi Institute of Technology organized an Intra-Institutional Startup Competition – YUKTI-NIR Challenge on 31st August 2023.

The event encouraged:

• Startup ideation
• Innovation and entrepreneurship
• Project pitching

Participants presented their ideas before experts, gaining valuable feedback and motivation.
